Great looking and touch feature is a plus. If offered in a less shiny finish would be even better as light reflected off chrome can create a glare. You just have to turn the base to get reflection to go away from your face

I use the touch lamp when I'm working at night. Whenever I'm doing close paperwork & need a bit more light, I reach over & tap the light - problem solved.
The convenience of touching a lamp & having it solve your lighting need is great! The contemporary, clean lines are a plus, compared to the look of most desk lamps.
The down side is that sometimes when I'm reaching for something else on my desk, I accidentally touch the lamp & it comes on when I don't need it. But the ease of turning it off makes it a small concern.
It fingerprints easily, but the 'white glove' that came with it makes cleaning it a breeze.
