    I wrote the burnt-in-chicago note. [...] got me new bulbs - and I was able to install them with no problem. This lamp is great for bedside reading - particularly if you need the 100W.

      The bulb in one lamp burnt out already. It disintegrated in my hand during attempted removal.

      The bulb in the second lamp is stuck.

      This did NOT meet expectations.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
