    Comments about All Other Brands|Medallion Lighting Sloane Data Port Desk Lamp:

    I needed to replace a desk lamp in my home office and I wanted one that included an electrical outlet so that I wouldn't have to go crawling under my desk every time I needed to plug in an extra device. This desk lamp has the outlet and the data (ethernet) port (that I do not plan to use).

    The design and look of the lamp are very nice; it looks like one miniature travel trunk stacked atop another, larger, trunk. The dual posts which connect the to the bulbs are very sturdy -- not going to become loose. The lamp shade is just as it looks, and is also well constructed. Should last a long time.

    The bulbs go on as follows:

    first click: one light goes on.
    second click: first light goes out, second one on.
    third click: both lights illuminate.
    fourth click: off.

    Haven't had it long, so I can't attest to its durability or overall quality, but so far, so good.

    Hope this helps.
